Description: Amarillo High School is located in the southwestern quadrant of Amarillo in a middle-to-upperclass neighborhood. It offers AP courses as well as the IB Diploma Programme in addition to dual credit courses in cooperation with Amarillo College. Students have access also to the Amarillo Center for Advanced Learning, a pull-out program for math and science shared by all four high schools in town. The school has a rich tradition of excellence for over a century.
